This collection is a result of a very long creative journey. From elaborately quilted jackets and bags in boro technique to cyanotype prints on textiles, the collection features variety of patchwork, hand-bleaching with plants, appliqués, stamps, embroidery and quilting. It is undeniably the best one I’ve ever created! Here are a few pages from the lookbook just to inspire you:
I’ve also created a series of different bags matching blue colors and prints. First of all, elaborately machine quilted boro tote bags made out of scraps of old and vintage cottons. Secondly, light and useful shopping tote bags with digitally printed cyanotypes. Thirdly, two types of cross-body bags with digitally printed patterns based on my cyanotypes on paper. They all are available HERE!
The story wouldn’t be full enough without a textile background I’ve created specifically for the photoshoot. It is worth a special mention undoubtedly! I’ve created it from the textiles I’ve made with indigo dying in summer 2021, you can read about it HERE!
