Wet Cyanotype Prints of Unique Australian Flora.

During my trip to Australia I continued working on my cyanotype project, by using incredible and unique plants of Australian continent. While the whole world watched in the news about huge Australian territories covered by fires, I was in a safe place in the Queensland National park making prints with plants, which, of course, carry great symbolism in the light of the terrible tragedy that happened. Through my prints I captured the sublime beauty of unique Australian flora. Working in direct connection with nature, I deeply felt its inconstancy and fragility. The main project, consisting of cyanotype prints on textile, is not finished yet. It still requires a lot of work to be done before my exhibition in May! But I’m happy to share with you my side project of wet cyano prints on cotton paper!
