This is a vest with giant prints, based on my collage artworks. Both prints are made by my unique technique of hand-bleached stencil art prints. To show a semi-tone effect of the primary images, I used two separate stencils and printed each piece of fabric twice. The vest itself is made of silk laid on wool jersey fabric. Prints are added as appliqués and laboriously machine quilted to make solid and flexible texture for the final garment.
This is warm, cosy and unique vest. It can be combined with a range of different clothes, from sweaters, dresses, hoodies, sweatshirts, t-shirts, to jackets and even light coats!
