The most beautiful thing about handmade bleached prints is their monochrome, no more than 2 colours, or even frequently – gradiented pattern of one colour, from saturated to lightened.
As a base for prints I always use plain fabrics, and after infliction of chlorine whitener pattern appears as a bleaching fragments of a stencil. This is quite laborious process which requires specific conditions (because of spraying hazardous to health chemicals) but results are always highly pleased to me. The uniqueness of this bleaching process, tiny little dots of spray, even imperfection which inevitably comes with my prints, makes them particular and alive as a truly work of Art.
